Some of the many champions bred at Cosford, as well as ponies and people that have crossed our paths over the years 

 

The legendary Holly of Spring - 3 times Show Pony of the year, being shown by Paul in the Pony Personality Parade at HOYS 1988.  Holly spent her latter years for Cooper Corporation at Cosford Stud and is buried in her favourite corner of her paddock.

Paul and the late, dear Michael Sharpley co-judging Mini M & M's at the Royal International Horse Show.

Margaret's other passions are Hunting, Point to Pointing and NH racing.  She is pictured above receiving The Queens Cup at Fakenham race course after Cracking Idea (IRE) won a Hunter Chase on an Easter Monday.  The following Saturday - 5 days later, he ran again, winning the Ladies Open at Higham in a record time of 5mins 57 secs.     

 

Cosford Charming by Stanley Grange Cocktail out of Cosford Charm.  HOYS finalist 2007/8, RIHS finalist  2007/8/9 being placed 5th, 3rd and most recently 2nd.

 

  

One of the studs foundation mares - Bengad Pernettya, shown here ridden by a young Danielle Waller & lead by mother Edwina.  They had many successes over 1991 & 1992 including BSPS Supreme Champion Lead Rein Peterborough 1991 and Champion at Royal Windsor 1992, she was then retired to stud.  Pernettya also features in Dr Wynne Davies book 'The Welsh Mountain Pony' page 121. 

 

International dressage rider and trainer, Spencer Wilton, a pupil of our Frog Hall riding school in the 1980's.

He went on to become National champion in 2007 riding Dolendo.
